R&R Update (August 14th)
Praise God for His timely providence. The roof and ceiling repair work in the sanctuary has been completed. The gym will gradually reopen for use. Our sincere thanks to everyone for your prayers and accommodation during this time.

Facilities and Venue Booking – We are switching to use the Church Center App for church-related facility booking requests. Please submit your request using this link.

All congregation bookings for personal use will be considered a rental and subject to rental fees. For ministry bookings, please clearly indicate the supervising pastor who provides direction and nurturing of this ministry. Please contact your lead pastor if you have any questions concerning the supervising pastor of a ministry.

Pathways is a support group for parents of post-secondary students, offering connection, encouragement, shared experiences, and prayer. We’ll keep in touch regularly through WhatsApp and email so everyone stays encouraged and up to date.
This group is only open to parents who worship in our English Congregation, with children attending post-secondary schools.

Children's Ministry

2026 Summer Noon Children Sunday School will be held from June 28th to the beginning of September. Volunteers are needed to serve as teachers and teaching assistants to assist students from kindergarten to Grade 6. If you are interested, please register on the Church Centre app.

From June 28 to September 6, Summer Sunday School will be available for children from Preschool to Grade 8, with early arrival at 11:15 a.m. (regular program: 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.). No advance registration is required.

Prayer

Pray for the second half of the softball season, that the community is strengthened and healthy, for the safety of all participants, and for players to demonstrate Godly character and excellence in their play, on and off the field. Pray also for the students and teachers as they prepare for the upcoming academic year

Mandarin Congregation

Pray for the Farewell and Commissioning Thanksgiving Worship for Rev. Sean Zhou and Pastor John Feng. Pray also for Pastor David Zuo, as he assumes the role of lead pastor. Lastly, pray for the August 14-17 short-term mission to Trois Rivieres

Cantonese Congregation

Pray for the team serving in Mongolia from August 22–30. May God protect the team and bless the evangelistic work. Pray for all ongoing outreach activities. May God grant wisdom to all committees and servers so they may serve together and share the Gospel. Pray for all pastors, leaders, and ministry workers. May God grant them wisdom to lead the ministries according to His will.

105 Gibson

Pray for the Summer Youth events happening: the Urban Safari program, where youth can better understand how different organizations engage with the community, and the Youth Summer Fun program, where youth can experience love, care, and joy within our Centre.

What's Happening Today

The 2026 South-East Asia missions team will be sharing about their time and experience after service today in the 3F Open Area. Come out to hear what God was doing and how our fellow brothers and sisters have been doing out there.
