SAVE THE DATE for Rev. Wesley Lim’s Retirement Celebration on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at TCCC. Join us for the Celebration Service at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary, followed by a Family Fair at 3:30 PM in the gym with food, games and fellowship. Come out and celebrate Rev. Wesley Lim’s 36 years of faithful ministry with us!

Progress Update – September 18th, 2026

Roofing and RTU Work Schedule
Roofing and RTU replacement work began on September 8; the progress update is shown below.

During the works period, there may be noise, dust and a tar smell. Air Conditioning for the classroom and Chapel will be suspended from September 18th to 26th. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Facilities and Venue Booking – We are switching to use the Church Center App for church-related facility booking requests. Please submit your request using this link.

All congregation bookings for personal use will be considered a rental and subject to rental fees. For ministry bookings, please clearly indicate the supervising pastor who provides direction and nurturing of this ministry. Please contact your lead pastor if you have any questions concerning the supervising pastor of a ministry.

A reminder to please park in the designated lots (highlighted in purple) to avoid having your car towed by the neighbouring buildings. Please refer to the diagram below.

HR Department

Reception Volunteers Needed
TCCC is looking for volunteers to help cover Reception on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 1–5 PM. Volunteers can serve for 1–2 hours or the full 4 hours, with flexible scheduling.

Duties include:

Welcoming and observing those coming into the church
Offering assistance when needed
Answering questions about worship times, programs, fellowships/small groups, and faith
Assisting with deliveries and other general inquiries

Children's Ministry

TCCC AWANA CLUBS will start again on September 13th, 2026 and go until June 27th, 2027. The AWANA program is for kids in JK-Gr.6 and runs every Sunday from 11:15am – 12:55pm.
Registration is available through the Church Center App. Please visit an AWANA leader at the 2nd-floor registration desk on August 30th or September 6th to submit a cheque to complete registration.

We’re looking for caring and committed volunteers to serve in our Children’s Ministry, especially in our Toddler & Pre-K programs (9:40–11:00 AM) at this time.
Whether you enjoy teaching, playing with children, or simply creating a welcoming and safe environment, there’s a place for you to serve! Training and support will be provided.

Prayer

Rev. Dr. Paul Bao Wha Chang was called home to be with the Lord on September 11th at the age of 93. Throughout his life, Rev. Chang devoted himself to evangelism and missions, actively advancing cross-cultural mission work in Southeast Asia. He also served on numerous occasions as a speaker at the ACEM Missions Conference. His funeral service was held in Singapore on September 16th. We thank God for using Rev. Chang throughout his life as a faithful servant in proclaiming the gospel and advancing missions. May the Lord comfort his family, friends, and ministry colleagues, and grant them peace and strength.

Mandarin Congregation

Please pray for the in-person prayer meetings held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, as well as the September–December Sunday School series, “The Life-Transforming Gospel.” Pray for the missionaries in the field – Rev. Sean and Mrs. Zhou (Berlin, Germany), Ptr. John and Mrs. Nicole Feng (Penonome, Panama).

Cantonese Congregation

Pray for Sunday School classes and other ministries, that God would strengthen the instructors, encourage members to participate, and equip them to witness for Christ. Pray for those preparing for baptism and membership at TCCC, that they would grow in knowing God and sharing their faith. Pray for students and families returning to school in September, that God would help them adjust to new routines and environments and grow to be more like Christ.

105 Gibson

Please continue to pray for our Front Desk Support Team: As the first point of contact to the community, that they will serve with patience and understanding. As some staff will be on leave, their resource arrangement can be smooth and seamless. As guest attendance continues to increase, they can maintain the same quality and standard of service.

What's Happening Today

We have Pre-Service Prayer every Sunday from 9:20 to 9:40 am in the library. This is a time to pray for the morning service, including the worship, the sermon, and the life of our church. Everyone is welcome, and all ages are invited. Join us as we prepare our hearts and commit the service to the Lord together.

Name Tag Sunday will be happening today, September 20th. This is a great opportunity for our English congregation to get to know one another better. As you enter the sanctuary, you’ll be invited to wear a name tag to help everyone connect by name. Let’s make it easier to remember and greet each other warmly!

Youth Sunday is happening today, September 20th. Let us show our appreciation to the youth and support them through prayer!

High School CE Unshaken is about discovering what happens when you stop building your identity on things that constantly change and start building your life on Someone who doesn’t. Ken Yuki and Pastor Sam will be teaching this course every Sunday in Room 306 from 11:15-12:15 pm.

Adult CE class will be happening today, September 20th, after service in Room 308. We will go through a series of individual classes that address common questions and topics relevant to Christians today. The topic will be on Engaging The Bible.

The Connection Table
Each Sunday, special tables will be reserved in the gym as a relaxed, welcoming space for anyone to meet others, build friendships, and grow together in community. Whether you’re new or have been attending for some time, we invite you to join us for fellowship and conversation.
If you are new, we encourage you to first stop by the Newcomers Welcome Booth to receive a special welcome gift, then come by the Connection Table to connect with others.
We look forward to getting to know you and helping everyone feel at home!

Upcoming Events

The Gathering Table (TGT) returns Wednesday, September 30th, from 6:30–9:00 pm in the TCCC Side Chapel! Join us for a simple mid-week dinner to connect and build community within our English congregation. Register by September 23rd and invite your friends, family, and neighbours!

Adult CE class will be happening next Sunday, September 27th, after service in Room 308. We will be going through a series of individual classes that seek to address common questions and topics which are relevant to Christians today. The topic will be Finding Margin: Unhurried Worship Rhythms for Busy Lives.

Our Thanksgiving Luncheon will be held on October 11th. Join us as we share a meal together! We give thanks to God for our English congregation community and want to continue building relationships with one another through fellowship and eating together.

Invite your family and friends to celebrate 105 Gibson Centre’s 13th Anniversary with us on Friday, October 2nd, 12:15 – 1:30 PM. Art Exhibition Opening Ceremony on Saturday, October 10th at 2:00 PM. The Exhibition Opening Ceremony will be held on October 10th at 2:00 PM. The exhibition will be open from October 10th to 25th (weekends). This event brings diverse cultures together, enriches local arts, and supports community services.
