Facilities and Venue Booking – We are switching to use the Church Center App for church-related facility booking requests. Please submit your request using this link.

All congregation bookings for personal use will be considered a rental and subject to rental fees. For ministry bookings, please clearly indicate the supervising pastor who provides direction and nurturing of this ministry. Please contact your lead pastor if you have any questions concerning the supervising pastor of a ministry.

A reminder to please park in the designated lots (highlighted in purple) to avoid having your car towed by the neighbouring buildings. Please refer to the diagram below.

Our Newcomers Small Group has transitioned into a new and exciting way to help people connect with our church family — the Connection Table.
Each Sunday, special tables will be reserved in the gym as a relaxed, welcoming space for anyone to meet others, build friendships, and grow together in community. Whether you’re new or have been attending for some time, we invite you to join us for fellowship and conversation.
If you are new, we encourage you to first stop by the Newcomers Welcome Booth to receive a special welcome gift, then come by the Connection Table to connect with others.
We look forward to getting to know you and helping everyone feel at home!

Rev Steven Lo and Sister Cathy Wu will have their wedding ceremony on Saturday, June 6th, at 11:00 am in the church sanctuary. Brothers and sisters are warmly invited to attend and witness God’s grace. Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony. Parking in Area D of St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral has been arranged for guests from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

A reminder to please complete your registration for the upcoming Sports Ministry events ahead of time. Secure your spot before the event date!

HR Department

The Executive Church Board has approved Rev. Wesley Lim’s sabbatical leave from April 1st to September 30th. During Rev. Wes’ sabbatical, please direct all Children’s Ministry inquiries to Deaconess Ella Wong at childrenministry@tccc.ca

In response to the spiritual growth of the children and the development of the ministry, following recruitment and selection, the Lord has guided two pastors to serve in children’s ministry: Pastor Emmy Chik from Cantonese congregation will assume the role of Pastor of Children’s Ministry beginning September 1st; Pastor Richard Qian of English congregation, whose internship period has ended, will assume the role of Pastor of Children’s Ministry on June 1st. Please direct all Children’s Ministry inquiries to Deaconess Ella Wong at childrenministry@tccc.ca. May the Lord protect and guide these two pastors in their new direction of ministry and bless this new milestone in children’s ministry.

Ordination News

You are cordially invited to the ordination of Pastor Johnny Ng on June 28th, at 2:30 pm. Reception will take place in the gym after the ceremony.
A banquet will take place in Grandeur Palace at 5:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased for $65 in front of the library on May 9th and 16th, after Arise Worship, or on May 10th and 17th, after Cantonese services. Tickets are subject to availability.

Administration Department
Please be informed that the project will commence soon and will be carried out in different zones. As the Gym and parts of the Sanctuary do not have suspended ceilings, construction work in these areas will generate dust and noise, making them unsuitable for activities during this period.
Due to the project’s nature and unpredictable weather, we may give less than a week’s notice for venue usage suspension. We appreciate your attention to this matter and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Harry (facilities@tccc.ca).

Pray for our TCCC Southeast Asia STM Team (Rev. Edmund, Raya, and Emily F – May 24th to June 9th)

Mandarin Congregation

Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom in the planning of the May 16–18 congregational retreat. Also, pray for the upcoming “Streams of Life” Sunday School, that through it, God’s Word would deepen and strengthen the spiritual lives of all who participate.

Cantonese Congregation

Pray for active participation in the Annual General Meeting and for God’s wisdom and preparation for the directors and deacons team in the coming year. Praise the Lord that 20 people accepted Christ during last week’s evangelistic meetings, and pray for their spiritual growth and steadfast faith. Pray that believers would be encouraged to register for the May–August Sunday school classes and grow zealously in their walk with Christ.

105 Gibson

Pray for the ministries and programs at 105 Gibson Centre, including the Food Bank Children’s Camp, OAP programs, Youth Leadership & Volunteer Program, and ALI courses. Pray for wisdom for the teams serving, helping children and participants grow in a supportive environment, inspiring hearts for service, and strengthening community connections through these initiatives.

What's Happening Today

We have Pre-Service Prayer every Sunday from 9:20 to 9:40 am in the library. This is a time to pray for the morning service, including the worship, the sermon, and the life of our church. Everyone is welcome, and all ages are invited. Join us as we prepare our hearts and commit the service to the Lord together.

Prayer Ministry

Please note that while the retreat is taking place from May 16th to 18th, Sunday service will continue as scheduled, and the Children’s Ministry program will be adjusted as follows from 9:30-11:00 am:

  • The toddler room will remain open for self-service; no formal children’s program will be provided.
  • SK/JK and Grades 1–3 will have a combined class in Room 208.
  • Pre-K and Junior classes will run as usual.

Upcoming Events

On May 23rd, 2026, we will be hosting Dinner and Delight at the 105 Gibson Centre, providing a special dinner for food bank clients. This event offers a peaceful, enjoyable evening for families facing financial hardship.
We invite volunteers to support in areas like the kitchen, hospitality, activities/games, and setup/cleanup. If you’re interested in volunteering, please click the registration button to sign up. If you have any questions, please contact Raphaela S. Volunteer spots are reserved for people who are a part of the English Congregation, so we appreciate your understanding and support in making this event meaningful for all.

Volunteer Now

Join us at our fifth The Gathering Table (TGT) on May 27th! We know it can be hard to really get to know one another after Sunday service. So this dinner is intentionally created for meaningful conversation, shared laughter, and a space to slow down and deepen connections within our English congregation. You’re also always welcome to bring a friend!
We’re looking for volunteers! You can indicate your interest in volunteering when you register for the event. If you have any questions, please contact communications@tccc.ca

Join us on May 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm for a delightful afternoon at our Ladies’ Tea—a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and build on the relationships formed during the English Congregation Retreat. The Young Families Group would like to bring women together across the generations for meaningful conversation, encouragement, and fellowship.
Mothers are warmly invited to bring babies under 1 year old and enjoy an “afternoon off” while keeping their little ones close. Come, take a pause, enjoy a cup of tea, and be refreshed in the community—we’d love to see you there.
