Administration Notice (Roofing Works and HVAC Unit Replacement Project)
Please be informed that the project will commence soon and will be carried out in different zones. As the Gym and parts of the Sanctuary do not have suspended ceilings, construction work in these areas will generate dust and noise, making them unsuitable for activities during this period.
Due to the project’s nature and unpredictable weather, we may give less than a week’s notice for venue usage suspension. We appreciate your attention to this matter and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Harry (facilities@tccc.ca).

Prayer

Please pray for the people serving at Teens Conference this month and for the youths attending. May they experience and encounter God’s love and faithfulness during this time.

Mandarin Congregation

Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom in the planning of the May 16th–18th Retreat, and for His grace and work in the hearts of those preparing for baptism and church membership, that they would be rooted in faith and ready to take this next step in following Christ.

Cantonese Congregation

Pray that during the Lent season, the Holy Spirit would guide and illuminate our hearts, renewing our spiritual lives, and pray also for the Cantonese pastoral team—that the Lord would grant strength and resilience to our pastors, staff, and their families, caring for them physically, emotionally, and spiritually—while asking that God’s Word would continue to cultivate and grow the spiritual lives of our brothers and sisters through the Stream of Life sermon-based groups.

105 Gibson

We thank our Heavenly Father for leading a faithful team of volunteers devoted to serving youth. Every Thursday evening, they prepare dinner at the centre, creating a welcoming space for young people to gather, build friendships, and connect in love and trust before “Community Night.” Together, the volunteers, the church, and our centre staff enrich this platform with elements of personal growth and faith, walking alongside students through their high school years. May the Lord bless this ministry as we serve according to our gifts and support one another in unity. May He draw more students from diverse backgrounds to 105 Gibson Centre to experience “Emmanuel” — the peace of God with us.

ACEM News

Michael and Man Sandstrom (Edmonton, AB, CIAM)
Please pray for the First Nations communities in Fort Vermilion and the surrounding areas, who are deeply grieving due to the suicides of young people, accidental deaths, and other sudden tragedies. May the Lord bring comfort, hope, and the assurance of His presence, and may He continue to use these families to share the love of Christ in the midst of deep pain.
Praise God for His gracious intervention and healing during Man’s life-threatening medical emergency last year. Also, please pray for His ongoing protection and spiritual growth within their family: salvation for Michael’s aging parents, and faith for their children as they follow His calling.

Field Visitation Trips (FVT) Subsidy Applications for 2026
We sincerely thank our brothers and sisters for their understanding and support regarding mission offerings over the past few years. To steward missions resources more effectively, and after careful and ongoing consideration, the Missions Committee has made the following decisions regarding FVT funding:

  • The funding arrangement for 2026 FVT teams will continue the adjustments implemented in 2025. All approved applications will receive a uniform 10% adjustment to the funding amount.
  • The Missions Committee has revised the eligible claim items for FVT funding, as outlined in Missions Policy Addendum II. Please note the updated arrangements.
  • All 2026 FVT applications must be submitted to ACEM on or before April 30th, 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered at the end of 2026, subject to the availability of remaining FVT funds.

These arrangements will be in effect from January 1st to December 31st, 2026, and will be reviewed at the end of 2026. May God strengthen the hearts of our brothers and sisters for missions, undeterred by external circumstances. Please continue to pray for the missions ministry, asking the Lord to guide and protect, and that the seeds of the Gospel may be sown among all nations.
